Kishore Sagar Lake
A historic artificial lake in central Kota, famous for the island palace of Jagmandir and its lively lakeside evenings.
The world's seven wonders, in miniature, by Kishore Sagar
Seven Wonders Park is one of Kota's most photographed modern attractions, a landscaped garden that gathers miniature replicas of the world's most famous monuments in one place. Wander from the Taj Mahal to the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, the Great Pyramid, the Colosseum, Christ the Redeemer and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, all within a single evening stroll.
Built along the shores of Kishore Sagar, the park is thoughtfully lit after dark and comes alive in the evenings with families, children and couples. It is a fun, low-effort outing and a favourite backdrop for photos, especially the beautifully rendered Eiffel Tower and Taj replicas.
Its central location makes it easy to combine with Kishore Sagar, Jagmandir and the city's other core attractions, cementing its place among the go-to Kota tourist places for a relaxed evening.
Seven Wonders Park was developed in the 2010s as part of Kota's civic beautification drive, transforming a stretch beside Kishore Sagar into a themed public garden.
The concept, replicas of global landmarks in one accessible park, was designed to give the city a family attraction with mass appeal, and it rapidly became one of the most visited spots in Kota.
It reflects the city's broader push in recent decades to add landscaped public spaces and destination parks for residents and tourists alike.
There is no old legend here, but a new one is forming: young couples in Kota like to say that a photo taken together in front of the miniature Eiffel Tower is as good as a promise made in Paris.
