Kota Stone is a fine-grained limestone quarried in the Kota region, prized for its durability, natural slip-resistance and low cost. Available in characteristic greenish-blue and brown shades, it is one of the most widely used flooring stones in India for homes, offices, temples and public buildings.
It requires minimal maintenance, stays cool underfoot, and can be honed to a glossy mirror finish or left with a natural matte surface.
