Early ruler, namesake of Kishore Sagar
According to local tradition, Kishore Sagar — the beautiful artificial lake in the centre of Kota — was commissioned by a Bundi prince named Dhee Deh (Kishore Singh) around the 14th century, long before Kota became a separate state. The lake later became the setting for the exquisite Jagmandir Palace built on an island at its centre.
Contribution to Kota
The lake attributed to him remains one of Kota's most cherished landmarks, giving the city its iconic waterside palace vista.
